I absolutely love what I do. It’s an honor to be trusted with my clients’ unique stories and to help them create the lives they want.
I’m warm, engaging, intuitive and real, an active and fearless therapist who will roll up my sleeves and get right there in it with you. My approach isn’t traditional. I merge cutting-edge research and proven therapeutic tools, including expression through the arts, mindfulness, somatic awareness and attachment theory. These tools are effective in treating anxiety, depression and trauma and can enhance performance and reduce stress.
It brings me joy to work with individuals and couples from all different backgrounds and orientations. When we work together, you will be seen, heard and respected.
I hold an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies with an emphasis in Expressive Arts Therapy. I’ve studied and trained in numerous theoretical orientations and healing modalities from all over the world. I also have a certificate in Integrative Medicine from the Institute for Health and Healing at California Pacific Medical Center, in San Francisco.
Since 2011, my work in private practice, hospice and hospital settings throughout the Bay Area has given me the opportunity to serve people of diverse backgrounds and orientations. I also bring my own life experience as a business owner, artist, and social justice advocate.
